Bible Study: Tuesday 10:30 AM & 7:00 PM PASTOR: DON EBB I have been at Maplewood as an associate pastor since March of 2001, and was called as the pastor in October of 2003. Before coming here, I served churches in Champlin and Minneapolis MN. I graduated from Bethel Seminary in 1995 (M.Div. with a major in Biblical Exposition), after spending many years operating my own delivery business. I am married and the father of three great kids, one in college and two out on their own. (The picture below shows me with my wife, Mary, and Zach, A.J. and Eli.) Some of my favorite activities are reading (favorite authors include C.S. Lewis, Soren Kierkegaard, Eugene Peterson, Frederick Buechner, and Annie Dillard), writing, playing Scrabble, Balderdash, etc., disc golf, golf, and a variety of other sports. My favorite place on earth is the north shore of Lake Superior. I possess something of an entrepreneurial spirit. I love starting new ministries and reaching out to new and different people. I have no interest in just "doing church" the way it has always been done. I thrive on creativity, and enjoy writing scripts, songs, lessons, sermons, even web pages. I especially love teaming up with other creative people. Actually, that is a big part of what the church is all about, people with differing gifts working together to meet each other's needs and the needs of others around them. We can do so much more together than any of us could do alone. And when God's Spirit is involved in the process, who knows what we might accomplish! It thrills me to see the people that God is continually bringing to our church, always adding new gifts to the mix, and even adding some new gifts to people who have been here awhile. I can't wait to see what He is going to do next, both in us and through us! I invite you to be part of the excitement!
